WND:
A 12-year-old girl who says she was traumatized when her teacher showed the film "Brokeback Mountain" featuring love scenes with homosexual cowboys is suing the Chicago Board of Education for $500,000.
It turns out it was a substitute teacher who showed the film, and apparently they didn't want the kids to narc.
"What happens in Ms. Buford's class stays in Ms. Buford's class," is what the substitute teacher told eighth-grade students at Ashburn Community Elementary School after showing the R-rated movie, according to a lawsuit filed Friday in Cook County Circuit Court.
As a native of Las Vegas I'm getting tired of everyone ripping off our motto, and interjecting it into every other sentence they say. R-rated movies aren't supposed to be shown in school at all ... let alone to 12 year olds. This case sound a lot like the gay seminar story a little while back.
Apparently this family has complained before because the girl was being forced to read school material that had curse words in it.
