Global Warming Is Officially Over, Suck It Greenies!

Like I've been saying for years now (along with several others), mankind did not cause global warming, and mankind has not curbed global warming either. If you listen to Al Gore and his ilk you know that, according to them, man has not done anything to improve the environment ... so don't let them try to take credit here.

No doubt there will be wide spread panic tomorrow in the greenie community to counter this evidence. Their tactic will likely include widespread suppression of the issue by ignoring it. One might think they would try to discredit this info, but they simply can't. The satellite data is nothing new at all, but the greenies ignored it several other times it was published. The greenies have also never responded to NASA's repeated attempts to explain that the sun is the cause of global warming not only here, but on virtually every other planet ... not humans. Why? The answer is simple ... they can't counter the argument, and if they ignore it the idiots out there will never know it even happened. They've also paid no attention to scientists telling everyone that the planet's temperature has fluctuated for the past 10,000 years naturally, and without our help. Hell, even the dinosaurs were the victims of global warming.

I've been celebrating all day now that I know that global warming is officially over.

Over the past year, anecdotal evidence for a cooling planet has exploded. China has its coldest winter in 100 years. Baghdad sees its first snow in all recorded history. North America has the most snowcover in 50 years, with places like Wisconsin the highest since record-keeping began. Record levels of Antarctic sea ice, record cold in Minnesota, Texas, Florida, Mexico, Australia, Iran, Greece, South Africa, Greenland, Argentina, Chile -- the list goes on and on.

No more than anecdotal evidence, to be sure. But now, that evidence has been supplanted by hard scientific fact. All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASA's GISS, UAH, RSS) have released updated data. All show that over the past year, global temperatures have dropped precipitously.

A compiled list of all the sources can be seen here. The total amount of cooling ranges from 0.65C up to 0.75C -- a value large enough to wipe out nearly all the warming recorded over the past 100 years. All in one year's time. For all four sources, it's the single fastest temperature change ever recorded, either up or down.

I guess the founder of the Weather Channel was right about global warming being a crock eh? This does explain why scientist have been so baffled, and humbled, by the current weather patterns being so cold.

Scientists quoted in a past DailyTech article link the cooling to reduced solar activity which they claim is a much larger driver of climate change than man-made greenhouse gases. The dramatic cooling seen in just 12 months time seems to bear that out. While the data doesn't itself disprove that carbon dioxide is acting to warm the planet, it does demonstrate clearly that more powerful factors are now cooling it.

As it turns out, NASA was right after all. Gee, who'd have thunk it.

Rest assured my little greenie friends ... the article still spells out doom for our planet because apparently cold is worse than heat. Which means you still have a cause to fight for by simply reverting back to the 1970's mantra that the planet was headed for a deep freeze, and then when it begins to warm again you can restart the cause of global warming. So you see, there is plenty to keep you occupied with. Problem is if global warming is less of an issue than global cooling ... maybe global warming was never a really big deal to begin with.

The way I see it, we need to make some changes, and start recognizing some basic truths.

Even though the US is performing better than the Kyoto countries in reducing carbon emissions we have a golden opportunity to squash the competition by removing all of our climate change restrictions on private business. Furthermore, since we know that carbon credits are a huge scam, that is stealing millions of dollars from the world's populations, we should put an end to these illegal businesses. We should also make sure that Kyoto is properly investigated for causing economic hardships, and needlessly destroying the world's forests.

It is also time that we launch massive investigation into the scientific community to find out which scientist continued to lie and manipulate data about global warming in order to get funding. You should already know the huge amounts of money involved with supporting global warming arguments through funding (over $80 billion). While we are punishing those scientist who have lied about global warming in order to get money ... we should reward the majority of published scientist that were honest by saying man is not responsible, or that there was not enough evidence to say either way. Less than half of published scientist support man-made global warming, so the investigation should go fairly quick.

It's also time that we accept polar bears are not in danger, and in fact are increasing their populations. However, we must be concerned with sea otters. It's time to save the poor little sea otters!

We should also consider not blaming our innocent children for destroying the planet. They have enough on their plate, and they deserve to get a good night's sleep without having nightmares about dieing in the middle of the night because of global warming. At least 6th graders are smart enough to know that man isn't causing global warming. Can you say the same?

We can also buy ourselves some nice SUVs without feeling guilty, and we no longer have to worry about sports cars being outlawed. Why not start eating Ben & Jerry's ice cream again while driving your new SUV. Since we don't have to worry about global warming anymore ... ice cream is safe. Well, not entirely safe ... they still have hidden soy products to slowly kill children and men.

It's a good thing global warming ended when it did so we don't have to worry about mercury poisoning with the CFL bulbs that congress keeps trying to shove down our throat. Whew, that was a close call. Now we can hold off until the even more energy efficient, and perfectly safe, LED bulbs hit the market in mass.

There have been some serious budget issue with regards to global warming that we don't need to worry about anymore either. Those new emissions standards that may ruin America's auto industry won't be necessary any longer. The military and intelligence community can also continue to focus on defending the country and fighting the war on terror without worrying about conducting war games to test how global warming will affect national security.

John Travolta can also stick around on Earth to entertain us with his acting, which is quite good, rather than going to another planet.

One of the best parts of global warming ending is that the UN will finally address the real issues that are causing the genocide in Darfur. Rather than wasting their time trying to tie Darfur to nonsensical theories. The conflict in Darfur predates the United States, it was not caused by global warming.

So you see, there is some work to be done now that global warming is no more. The predators who have preyed upon gullible people need to be punished, and those who stuck up for us rewarded. Even if it's only a thank you, but some funding for their research would be nice. The American people stand to get a windfall in money that the government no longer needs for climate change programs. We can only wait to see how our government will spend that money, but rest assured we won't get it back. My only hope is that it goes for truly necessary programs like veterans assistance, or a super dooper death ray mounted in space to evaporate our enemies. At a bare minimum I hope the money we save, from these now unnecessary programs, will be enough to cover the massive costs of the social programs Hillary and Obama have proposed, because I fear one of them will be president and we don't have the money to cover those programs.

UPDATE: Judge Outlines 9 Errors In "An Inconvenient Truth"

This is an update to my previous post.

The judge did make it a requirement to notify students that the film was biased before they view it.

Here are the nine errors the judge outlined, but you could watch "The Great Global Warming Swindle" to get more.

UPDATE: Judge Orders Schools To Warn Students Of Al Gore Movie Bias

UPDATE:

A CNN meteorologist applauded the news that a judge has ordered schools to warn students of the bias in "An Inconvenient Truth."

You can read more about his comments, including a transcript, here.

UPDATE 2:

Al Gore is still refusing to accept any debate challenges on global warming. This is nothing new. He's been hiding like a scared little punk for years, and refusing to debate anyone on global warming. Junk Science issued a debate challenge to Al Gore years ago, and he has refused to accept the challenge.

ORIGINAL POST:

This judge knows that the inconvenient truth is that "An Inconvenient Truth" is not truthful.

Daily Mail:

Schools will have to issue a warning before they show pupils Al Gore's controversial film about global warming, a judge indicated yesterday.

The move follows a High Court action by a father who accused the Government of 'brainwashing' children with propaganda by showing it in the classroom.

Stewart Dimmock said the former U.S. Vice-President's documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, is unfit for schools because it is politically biased and contains serious scientific inaccuracies and 'sentimental mush'.

He wants the video banned after it was distributed with four other short films to 3,500 schools in February.

Mr Justice Burton is due to deliver a ruling on the case next week, but yesterday he said he would be saying that Gore's Oscar-winning film does promote 'partisan political views'.

This means that teachers will have to warn pupils that there are other opinions on global warming and they should not necessarily accept the views of the film.

He said: 'The result is I will be declaring that, with the guidance as now amended, it will not be unlawful for the film to be shown.'

They will still be allowed to show the film, but with an asterisk.

Let's not forget that there has been a war waged by parents who know "An Inconvenient Truth" is scientifically inaccurate. They've been trying to get the movie banned altogether.

You must also consider that Al Gore was training over a 1000 people to go out and show his movie to kids.

Then there is the case of the movie "The Great Global Warming Swindle" was made to counter "An Inconvenient Truth" specifically. This movie is not shown in schools, and was even the victim of scientists (who get a lot of funding from the global warming crowd) who wanted to censor the film.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The only true culprit using the 'politics of fear' is the global warming crowd.

Al Gore Mad We Are Talking About Paris Hilton

I'm in agreement with Gore here somewhat. The Hilton thing is a little much, but don't believe his reason why he's upset.

The Sun Online:

AL GORE is a man on a mission to save the planet – and is enraged that everyone else seems more interested in saving Paris Hilton.

He believes we have just TEN YEARS to begin saving the planet before it is too late.

But he struggles to get his message across when TV networks are donating the majority of their airtime to American socialite Paris Hilton’s stint behind bars.

The planet is in distress and all of the attention is on Paris Hilton. We have to ask ourselves what is going on here?”

Gore would have you believe that he is mad we aren't talking about global warming more, but he is really upset that we aren't talking about HIM more.

Now That Carbon Credits Have Been Shown To Be A Fraud ... Are People Still Dumb Enough To Fall For The Scam?

The answer is a resounding yes.

Remember how I told you carbon and methane credits were "The Ultimate Scam" before anyone was seriously looking at it? Since then every blog and talk show host has begun providing the evidence of the carbon credit scam. There has even been an investigation that concluded the companies involved in this lie were, in fact, scam artists. Now there is another investigation by the UN that shows further fraud by carbon credit companies.

The Guardian:

The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), which is supposed to offset greenhouse gases emitted in the developed world by selling carbon credits from elsewhere, has been contaminated by gross incompetence, rule-breaking and possible fraud by companies in the developing world, according to UN paperwork, an unpublished expert report and alarming feedback from projects on the ground.

So once again I present to you a harty "see, I told you so."

Not only have I told you repeatedly about the scam of carbon credits, but I've told you that governments were a part of the fraud, and that the outcome would be more greenhouse gas emissions ... not less. Turns out I'm a psychic!

Since these are used by European governments and corporations to justify increases in emissions, the effect is that in some cases malpractice at the CDM has added to the net amount of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere.

There is tons more evidence of fraud in the article.

I wonder what companies who push carbon credits while contributing to increased greenhouse emissions (like Ben & Jerry's) will say about the second full fledged investigation showing fraud. Hell, even Al Gore himself said being carbon neutral is a fraud.

If nothing else, the "credit" business has allowed free thinking entrepreneurs to come up with a "credit" for everything, and make a legitimate business venture out of the idea.

Gore's "Momentous Announcement" Was That Carbon-Neutral Is A Fraud

Funny thing is he didn't realize he said it.

Some speculated he would announce his candidacy, but that would have made no sense. To announce in Canada would have destroyed the campaign before it started.

Gore's announcement was that Canada's climate plan is a fraud. A lot like carbon-credits are a fraud I suppose.

There are some hilarious gems in what Gore had to say.

AP:

He also criticized the plan for allowing industries to pollute more if they use emissions-cutting technologies while increasing production.

"In my opinion, it is a complete and total fraud," Gore said Saturday. "It is designed to mislead the Canadian people."

This is the money shot of the piece. Gore is actually saying that not reducing emissions while using green technology is a fraud. Let me translate that for you folks. Gore is saying that the Canadian plan to make industry carbon-neutral is a scam. Just like I said earlier ... like carbon-credits. It's ok for Gore to not reduce emissions because he buys offsets, but it is not ok for businesses to do the same. Pure hypocrisy!

The Canadian plan is designed for businesses to reduce emissions with their current production by using eco-tech. It also allows businesses to increase production using eco-tech to equal their current emissions output. The idea is that businesses can't increase their emissions to more than their current output ... i.e. carbon-neutral.

The Canadians fired back.

Canadian Environment Minister John Baird rejected Gore's criticisms.

"The fact is our plan is vastly tougher than any measures introduced by the administration of which the former vice president was a member," Baird said in a statement.

Pwned! Not only is it tougher than Clinton's policies, but Bush has had far more success in reducing emissions than Clinton ever did. Clinton would propose unreasonable cuts in emissions that would never pass because they were unrealistic. Clinton was never effective at any real environmental change. Bush has proposed emissions reductions that weren't unrealistic, and were implemented.

Scientists Want To Censor Global Warming Film

No, not THAT film. Some scientists in England want "The Great Global Warming Swindle" to change or remove parts of the movie so that it better fits their twisted fictional reality.

Yahoo:

A group of British climate scientists is demanding changes to a skeptical documentary about global warming, saying there are grave errors in the program billed as a response to Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth."

You'll notice they didn't demand changes to parts of "An Inconvenient Truth" that were completely manufactured by Al Gore.

An open letter sent Tuesday by 38 scientists, including the former heads of Britain's academy of sciences and Britain's weather office, called on producer Wag TV to remove what it called "major misrepresentations" from the film before the DVD release -- a demand its director said was tantamount to censorship.

Censorship it is. I have no idea how accurate "The Great Global Warming Swindle" is, but I do know that "An Inconvenient Truth" is completely inaccurate. If you demand changes to one film because of inaccuracies ... you must make the same demand of the other. Especially since the British government has mandated that Gore's movie be shown to kids. We all know what's going on here though. These scientists are greenies, and are doing everything they can to prevent other scientists from challenging their findings because their findings are false. If that is exposed ... they will lose an awful lot of money they've been getting to advance their agenda.

UPDATE:

I put this up earlier I completely forgot to mention that Al Gore is trying to force his movie upon schools, and is training 1000 people to go out and have his movie shown to kids.

Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream ... Cooling You Off While Killing The Planet

Ever since Ben & Jerry's started churning out their uniquely named frozen delights I've heard the same thing over and over again: "It's addictive!" People everywhere flocked to the ice cream stand, and the grocery store to pay way too much for ice cream that was easily 200-300% more expensive than the competition. I personally have never been a fan of the Ben & Jerry's brand, and this was long before I knew about their politics.

I was only a kid on a date when I figured I would impress her with splurging for Ben & Jerry's at one of their shops. After all, everyone loved Ben & Jerry's ... I couldn't lose. As I fought through the agony of paying $10-$12 for two smalls (at the time I could have had 3x as much ice cream for $1.25 elsewhere) my date slowly relished her treat. I, on the other hand, found the flavor to be bland by current standards, and vowed to never make that mistake again.

I never could understand why so many people would say that Ben & Jerry's was addictive, and I often joked that they put crack in their ice cream to keep people coming back for more. Perhaps they did, or maybe it was just the kooky names that kept people interested, but it was not the flavor. No one pays several times more for ice cream that has less flavor than the competition ... no one. I figured once everyone realized that Ben & Jerry's wasn't worth the extra money they would say they tried something new, and return to 31 Flavors or, better yet, Thrifty. No such luck.

While I still don't have a handle on why Ben & Jerry's survived, and excelled, in the ice cream wars ... they have improved. They have more unique flavors now, and have begun to add flavors together that were previously only a creation you made yourself. I have long known about their politics, and every now and then I will try Ben & Jerry's again to see if my tastes have changed. Still, I find it bland with little texture. Same as when I was a kid.

I recently decided to try the Vermonty Python flavor, and I will admit it's the best of theirs I've had, but not worthy of buying again. I happened to notice on the container a message about how they oppose rGHB (recombinant bovine growth hormone), and was a little surprised that they were putting activist messages on their product label. Not that there is anything wrong with this particular message, but I decided to look a little further at their company's activism. This was really in response to Ben & Jerry's opening a new manufacturing facility here in Nevada for environmental reasons.

As Ben & Jerry’s grows, locating additional production closer to our western markets is a responsible environmental decision that reflects our values,” Ben & Jerry’s CEO Walt Freese said in a statement.

As you recall in my piece The Ultimate Scam companies are selling methane credits. They're like carbon credits, but for flatulence. You can buy methane credits for your farts, your grandma's farts, and even your pet's farts. In case you didn't know ... methane is a greenhouse gas, and the greenies say that farting is helping to destroy the world. They often blame mankind's use of farm animals as a major reason. To be succinct ... farts cause global warming, and it's all man's fault. Got it ... good! That's important for later.

BenJerry.com is an interesting website to say the least, and it has a wealth of information. Not only does it have the typical data on the company and its products, but it has a ton of information on global warming.

Exhibit A:

It's not everyday that you see a global warming link on a desert's website. What do you do when you come to a series of bricks? Follow them, of course. That's where I found ...

Exhibit B:

I decided to take a look at the partners to Ben & Jerry's global warming quest, and found nothing out of the ordinary. A couple of big names (1 or 2 active in eco-terror), and a lot of smaller names.

Exhibit C:

From here is where I start to find amusement in my playing around on their site. As you can see Ben & Jerry's is clearly devoted to the global warming cause. Most of us knew that already, but it gets better so bare with me.

Remember we talked a little about carbon credits earlier. Carbon credits allow you to continue to pollute, but feel better about yourself for polluting, by giving a company some money so they can "invest" in eco-friendly technology. Just so we are clear ... these companies are a scam, and provide little to no proof that they have actually reduced your greenhouse gas emissions. Most of their claims are factually impossible, and are frauds.

Exhibit D:

You'll notice the top link to reduce your carbon pollution on the top left above. When you click it you get to ...

Exhibit E:

Ben & Jerry's even has a link to a petition to support two environmental bills in Congress.

Exhibit F:

It doesn't appear that Ben & Jerry's read either of these proposed bills because it would require them to make some pretty hefty business changes. You can even find an environmental impact study on themselves on their website.

So why am I harping on Ben & Jerry's ice cream for global warming, and carbon credits? Am I going to tell you that there manufacturing causes global warming? No, they've already admitted, and addressed that. It appears to me that Ben & Jerry's is looking into reducing their "carbon footprint" via methods other than the fraudulent carbon credits. Even though they are promoting the credits they have actively sought ways of improving their infrastructure. No, I don't know if they have any investments in a carbon credit company, but I wouldn't be surprised.

The reason I'm addressing Ben & Jerry's is because they are active in the global warming debate to the tune of devoting most of their website to it. While some believe carbon is the primary greenhouse enemy ... others believe methane is. Al Gore even said methane is 23x worse than carbon dioxide. Ben & Jerry's ice cream is knee deep in methane contribution. While they may be encouraging their customers to buy carbon credits ... they aren't doing anything about their serious methane problem.

I told you to remember The Ultimate Scam, and the methane credits being offered by some companies. The arguments by these companies, and others, is that farts cause global warming. Therefore you need to send them a check so they can magically remove your farts from the atmosphere. So what causes farts? Surprisingly, a number of ingredients in Ben & Jerry's ice cream. The following ingredients in my pint of Vermonty Python have all been shown to cause methane expulsion, and thereby contributing to global warming.

  • lactose
  • sugar
  • wheat flour
  • corn starch
  • soy lecithin
  • guar gum

One ingredient is known to cause serious effects, and there is an attempt to get it banned. That ingredient is carrageenan. I'd never heard of it before writing this, but it has caused colonic ulcerations and gastrointestinal neoplasms (possible cancer).

Most of us know that ice cream isn't good for you, and we shouldn't expect it to be. However, most of the ingredients in Ben & Jerry's ice cream are directly related to methane production. If Al Gore is right and methane is more dangerous to the environment than carbon ... Ben & Jerry's will have a significant "footprint" on the environmental impact caused by methane.

Perhaps Ben & Jerry's believe as I do that methane is not destroying the world, and they don't pay it much attention. That seems very unlikely, however, given their website. So why in the world would they peddle a product that causes an excessive amount of greenhouse gas emissions if they are so in tune with the environmental cause? It's like someone who supports a ban on guns owning a bullet manufacturer.

If they are successful in their mission to get those two emissions bills passed in Congress ... Congress may require Ben & Jerry's to remove many of their ingredients in order to meet the extreme emission goals set in those two bills that Ben & Jerry's has supported so vigorously. Again, I don't even know if Ben & Jerry's supports the methane argument, but if they do ... how do they sleep at night?

Inconvenient Parents Mobilize To Keep Gore Movie Out Of Schools

No matter what your belief on global warming is you should support these parents. Why?

Gore's movie has been proven to NOT be a documentary, and has violated rule 12 of the Oscars. Which, of course, didn't matter. Then there is Gore himself admitting that the movie lies.

We have an obligation to not allow movies that are not factually correct to be taught in the classroom.

Gore Finally Trying To Get Solar Power At His Mansion, But Will They Let Him

It appears that Al Gore, finally, is trying to install solar panels on his house. He's owned the house for a couple of years now, and hasn't made attempts at doing so until he was exposed for his energy usage. It looks like he might be having some problems getting the zoning right.

Head over to Ecotality for the full story.

PETA Attacks Al Gore

I'm going to stick up for Gore here because there is no greater hypocrite than PETA. PETA attacked Al Gore today because he eats meat (who knew).

Norfolk, Va. — This morning, PETA sent a letter to former vice president Al Gore explaining to him that the best way to fight global warming is to go vegetarian and offering to cook him faux “fried chicken” as an introduction to meat-free meals. In its letter, PETA points out that Gore’s film, An Inconvenient Truth—which starkly outlines the potentially catastrophic effects of global warming and just won the Academy Award for “Best Documentary”—has failed to address the fact that the meat industry is the largest contributor to greenhouse-gas emissions.

So the idiots are attacking the smarter idiots, and perpetuating the myth that flatulence is destroying the planet ... all at the same time.

Gore is a complete hypocrite who makes millions of dollars by not living up to his own sermons on living the green lifestyle, but PETA murders little kittens before they even have a chance at a good life. They do this claiming they are saving the kittens from being abused ... i.e. becoming pets.

Perhaps we've stumbled upon something here. Maybe PETA is really a clandestine Greenpeace outfit whose goal is to destroy all animals in order to prevent the animal's farts from destroying the earth.

More on methane destroying the planet, and how to save yourselves here, and here.

Gore's Ultimate Scam

Everyone has been laying out the facts about Al Gore's environmental hypocrisy for some time now ... most recently the $30,000 utility bills. While having a house NOT 20x the average American home ... he uses 20x the power the average household does. Top it off with the fact that he isn't utilizing the green energy sources available to him (at all 3 of his houses), and he's just now installing solar panels (after years of ownership) ... and we've got a story and a half.

Gore's defense: he buys carbon credits to offset his extensive power usage. This is a practice that is fraudulent to the core, and doesn't offset his methane production via burping and farting. I wrote about the Ultimate Scam a little while back. Which company does he pay for these credits: Generation Investment Management (GIM). Why is that important? Well a few reasons.

  1. Al Gore is a founding partner in the company
  2. The average person doesn't have access to its services
  3. A former Gore staffer suspected of fraud runs the US branch
  4. And it's an investment firm

Basically, Gore can purchase carbon credits from himself and only be investing in his company which will go out and invest in other companies making his company grow, and produce more profits.

Can you really not change your lifestyle, purchase carbon credits from yourself, and make millions doing it? I guess so. Well ... I'm off to meet with my financial advisor.

You can read the full story at Riehl World View.
