Russia: Terrorists Are Trying To Get Our Nuclear Material

If you've ever been in the military you know how worrisome terrorists getting their hands on Russian nuclear material is. They've been attempting this (some believe successfully) since the end of the cold war. Now Russia is saying that it is a serious threat that should be taken seriously.

Russia's antiterrorism committee believes it has evidence of terrorists trying to gain access to weapons of mass destruction.

The intelligence has come from a joint sharing arrangement with the United States.

The head of the committee, Nikolai Patrushev, said the security issue has risen to the top of the agenda and the committee will evaluate measures in place to secure key defense, nuclear, space and industrial facilities.
